St Mary, Barwell

This is a church that is about 800 years old. The first rector was appointed in 1209. It is a grade 1 listed building. It is the Parish church of the benefice. It contains some fine stained glass, some first rate carved choir stalls and pulpit.The carving was undertaken by parishioners at the beginning of the 20th Century as part of a nightschool class. We are a very welcoming congregation. Do come and give us an opportunity to welcome you into our fellowship.

Every first third and fifth Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Family Service
This is a service organised with people of all ages in miond. It is less formal than other services.Its intention is to help young people feel that they can be part of the local church and feel included in its life and worship.
Every second Sunday at 10:45 AM for 55 minutes
Family Communion
This is a Holy Communion service but one that is less formal. It is organised with people of all ages in mind.
Every fourth Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour
Wednesday
Holy Communion with refreshments afterHoly Communion with refreshments after. Those who come to this service are very friendly and easily welcome those with children. We occasionally go on an outing as a congregation.
Every Wednesday at 9:45 AM for 35 minutes
