Set alone on a knoll above a valley, St. Giles is a beautiful country church. The west tower is medieval, the rest of the building being rebuilt in 1819 – it is the last Georgian church in Herefordshire. Above the south doorway of the tower is set a section of an Anglo-Saxon cross-shaft, dating from about the 9th century. The font is dated to about the fifteenth century.
Please note that this church is very difficult to access. It is up a steep grassy slope with no path.
