St Mary's is a small, pretty church with a round tower, situated on a hill overlooking a valley. It dates back to at least the 14th century, although some of the tracery is 13th century and the lower part of the tower is thought to be Norman. Remains of Saxon stonework are found in the walls and window dressing.
Extensive renovations took place in the late eighteen hundreds. The simple interior is lime-washed and enhanced with carved pew-ends.
We welcome all visitors to sit in the church or wander in the peaceful surroundings of our well-kept churchyard.
