Collect for 6th Sunday of Easter
Risen Christ, by the lakeside you renewed your call to your disciples: help your Church to obey your command and draw the nations to the fire of your love, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.

CRB
If you volunteer for church activities you will need a CRB check please contact Barbara for a form. Everyone who volunteers also needs to fill an annual declaration form, these are now on the welcome desk, please return to the church office.
Healing Ministry
We will offer individual prayer for anyone requesting it from next Sunday. We will be commissioning the Healing team at next Sundays Service. There will be two teams of two in the side chapel after every Worship. Those who have been commissioned with wear a yellow lanyard to show that they have been through training and, I believe, are called to this ministry. There will be people in the congregation who are wearing their lanyards. If you would like prayer you may approach them and they will pray with you in the pews. Please be aware this does not excuse any of us from praying for healing for others, but I believe these people have a specific calling to do so. I would respectfully ask parents to keep an eye on their children and ask them not to run through the side chapel after the worship has finished.
Alpha Course
The next Alpha course will begin on Monday 14th May at the Vicarage. If you want to come along complete one of the invitation forms on the welcome desk or just come along on the night.
Thank you from Chrissie & Barry
We would like to say a very big thank you to all who prayed for Amanda during our recent trip to Spain. Amanda was very well and only had one or two very mild seizures, and we could feel the power of your prayers all week. Chrissie also had lots of peace so was able to relax a bit and enjoy the holiday also. God bless you all. Our love Chrissie, Amanda and Barry. Continue reading Thank you from Chrissie & Barry

Letter to the Church from Open Doors
A letter has been received from Open Doors. This is what it says: Thank you for your gift of £150.00 to strengthen Christians in the Arab World. Your support will help us equip believers in the region to stand firm in the face of persecution and be a light to their nations. As the Arab Spring sweeps across North Africa and the Middle East, the future for the church looks increasingly uncertain. Yet in many countries of the Arab World, the church is growing. In this climate, training believers to prepare them to face serious persecution for their faith is vital. Of course, it is because of your prayerful generosity that we are able to provide training and encouragement to believers. So please would you join me in praising God for the privilege of being involved in building his Church in the Arab World, and praying that our brothers and sisters will continue to be a light to their nations at this crucial time. Your friend and brother, Eddie Lyle CEO Open Doors UK & Ireland. Continue reading Letter to the Church from Open Doors

Kate is looking for support on this run on a relay basis from: 1) Church members who already run who could support her by running a section with her (e.g 3-5 miles) 2) Others in good health and normal general fitness who would like to undertake a 6 week programme progressing from walking to running and who could then aim to join her for sections of 1-2 miles. She would be prepared to encourage and assist these volunteers and, if practical, arrange joint sessions to go out together with Kate and other beginners walking/jogging. The Well bag-packing at Asda
Thank you so much for the help and support we received last Saturday, we raised £215 for the project which is fantastic, we raised the profile of the project in the town and we have been invited back again!! We have been blessed this week, the Asda distribution centre contacted The Well early in the week about some community work, which has resulted in the Well building being totally redecorated inside by a team of Asda workers for free! We are very blessed and grateful for the support from Asda.
Well & TLG visits
Lord St. Oswald will be visiting our two centres on Tuesday this week.
