Ambrosden: St Mary the Virgin, Ambrosden

The church is also used as the Garrison chapel. It is partly 12th Century, but more dominantly 14th Century architecture and building, with numerous alterations down through the ages. It has an efficient and unobtrusive heating system, attractive lighting and good carpeting. The church has a fine ring of 8 bells, which are rung by the Bell Ringing team each Sunday before the morning service, as well as at weddings and occasions as required, by agreement.
