Pinehurst Green Christmas Event
The Pinehurst Green Committee are hosting this Christmas Event for our local Community. There will be a variety of stalls and activities, music from 2 Choirs, a free Grotto with Santa and refreshments.

Palm Sunday Mass with the blessing of Palms and Procession
Weather Permitting we will be starting the liturgy this day outside recalling the triumphal arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem. We beegin with the blessing of Palms and then process into the church. The mass includes the dramatic reading of the account of the Passion.

Maundy Thursday
The Liturgy this day begins with the celebration of the Last Supper which includes the "pedilavium" or the act of footwashing. We remember the new commandment given by Jesus to " Love one another as I have loved you." At the end of the Mass there is a procession to the Altar of Repose representing the garden of Gethsemane. The Altars are stripped and the watch is kept until Midnight.
