Parish Mass
Saint Columba's invites you to join us for the central act of worship of our Christian faith. We believe that it is important that we offer the best we can in praise and in beautiful liturgy in thanksgiving to God.
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Praying the Rosary
This monthly service was started following a request from our young pilgrims following the Youth Pilgrimage to Walsingham in 2010. They invite you to join them in praying the Rosary.
Every first Sunday at 6:00 PM for 20 minutes

Wednesday

First Wednesday Lunch
As the name suggests this lunch normally takes place on the first wednesday of each month. It is open to anyone to come and enjoy a nice lunch with good company and all for just £3.50. It helps for catering purposes if you can let Sharon, our Centre Manager know if you are coming. Sharon can be contacted on 07704203409

Bookings

In our Parish Centre which was built in 1998 we have excellent facilities on two floors with a variety of rooms for meetings, training sessions and conferences. There is a lift for access to the first floor. for more information please contact our Centre Manager, Sharon Tel; 07704 203409

Visit our Church

Access to the church is possible every day Mon-Fri from 09.00-17.00 by calling at our Nursery Reception Desk. To ensure that the caretaker is able to give access to the church please call Tommy on 0151 284 2168.Church is also open from 10am-3pm on Wednesdays. there is a Mass at 12noon and a soup and sandwich lunch at 12.30 at the very reasonable cost of £2

Nurture Courses

We have two courses:Our own home grown course called Any Answers? on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm beginning 12th January 2011. We may not spend all our time contemplating the meaning of life ! But most of us have loads of questions that we would like to ask but don’t.Why not make it your New Year’s resolution to ask those burning questions in a relaxed, informal and friendly setting.We promise you; no Bible thumping, brain washing, patronising and certainly no forcing Christianity down your throat!We invite you to come along for a chance to meet others who are also looking for answers.The second course will be starting in February 2011. We will be running a pilot of the new version of the Foundation Course. The first series of 9 weeks will be on the Bible. This will be on Thursday Nights at 8.00pm starting date still to be set.
