St Andrew & St Bartholomew is a beautiful church located in the village of Ashleworth near the banks of the river Severn. Being near to the river has its challenges and St Andrew and St Bartholomew has recently undergone extensive restoration following the 2007 Gloucestershire floods.
With a congregation that loves to sing we have a marvellous organ recognised as one of the best sounding instruments in the region. There is an active team of Bell Ringers in the area and church members are very involved in all areas of village life in Ashleworth. We have a traditional approach to our services but we always enjoy seeing new people and you would be most welcome to join us.
Families are always welcome, we are unable to offer a Sunday School but we do provide activity bags for children.
Near the church is the Tithe Barn (a National Trust property) and the excellent Boat Inn at Ashleworth Quay right on the banks of the river.
St Andrew & St Bartholomew is part of the West of Severn Benefice incorporating the villages of Ashleworth, Corse, Hartpury, Hasfield, Maisemore, Staunton and Tirley.
