St. Peter's is an Anglican Church in the open
evangelical tradition. Built in 1852 it has
been re-ordered with a carpeted floor
and upholstered chairs. This has created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Worship involves a mixture of traditional hymns and modern songs.
We have a friendly Sunday school during the 10:30am service.
Church members meet in small cell groups as well as at the weekly coffee mornings and bible studies. We also host a branch of the Mothers' Union.
Average attendance across all three services on a Sunday is about 55 adults and 15 children out of a wider group of about 100 adults and 30 children.
St Peter's has recently built a new Church and Community Hall next door to the church, used for Sunday School and various groups during the week. The hall is available for bookings from community groups or special interest groups, or for private functions.
