St Mary

St Mary's Church at Astbury invites everyone, wherever they may find themselves on their spiritual journey, to join in our Christian adventure. Together as a church family, we seek to grow more like Jesus, helping carry one-another’s burdens, sharing our talents and gifts, praying and worshipping together. We do not take ourselves too seriously and we know we are far from perfect, but we do make amazing cakes.

Whether you are a regular church-goer or you just want to dip in your toes and test the water, you are sure of a warm welcome at St Mary's.

SAFEGUARDING

St Mary's cares passionately about the safety of all her church family and visitors.  Read how we at Astbury make provision for safeguarding here.

A date for your diary – Saturday 18th April at 7.00pm in St Mary’s Church.
A very special concert in church to celebrate the church re-opening for Easter and Spring. It features the excellent local choir, The Little Moreton Singers with an interval at half time for wine, soft drinks and nibbles and a chance to view the church or catch up with friends.
Tickets are £15 each, email [email protected] for details of how to book your ticket.
Jane will also sell tickets at church from 12 pm on Sundays 29th March, 5th and 12th of April. Please bring cash.
All proceeds from the concert are to support the heavy running costs of keeping St Mary’s Church open.
Please share the details with your friends and family – it’s going to be a brilliant evening!

Thank you so so much to people who have been able to support our Crowdfunding appeal to help with the costs of our beautiful old building. So far we have raised £1300!
