Because of its central location, St. Anne’s is ideally placed for people who come into the town to shop or for the twice-weekly market.
Whilst its regular congregation is of modest size, many people in the area regard St. Anne’s as ‘their church’, particularly for funerals, even for non-church attenders.
On market days the church is open for the service of refreshments (tea, coffee, soup and sandwiches).
St. Anne’s prides itself in being a ‘doors-open’ church, with which people are familiar and where they feel welcome and undaunted.
