St Helena’s is a small very historic church building. The present church building dates from Norman times, but has links with the Austerfield Synod of 702AD. Later, William Bradford, the first governor of Massachusetts was baptised here.
A small congregation now meets weekly, and the church is closely liked with St Nicholas Bawtry.
