We are a medium sized modern Parish Church of about 70 adults and children of all ages, which seeks to be welcoming to both the fit and the frail. About half of our membership attends the weekly main service on Sundays at 10am. This is a modern language service in varied formats using both recent worship songs and traditional hymns. We seek to be inclusive of all traditions, and include some members from denominations other than the Church of England.
Details of our services and events can also be found on this site. We would be happy to send you a copy of our church and community magazine which along with our website has more information about us.
Our purpose as a church is "Together, changing lives for good!" expressed in four ways:
1)To continue our personal growth as disciples, and communicate faith through friendship;
2) To engage in effective action that is targeted on spiritual and practical need, both locally and globally;
3) To encourage awareness of forgiveness and life abundant in Christ offered to individuals and families;
4) To build partnerships with other churches and agencies working for the good of our community.
Being built relatively recently, our church building is comfortable and well equipped.
The Church was one of the first in the world to register an Alpha Course, which we continue to offer on a regular basis. We also offer The Marriage Course, which encourages deeper relationships between married couples. We are orthodox in teaching, though not "narrow". We are members of the Evangelical Alliance.
