Methodist & URC Church Bellingham, NE48 2BL

Lent is a good time for us to reflect on the infinite bounty of God's creation and how we respond to this great gift. This Lent season we will be doing just that as we study Saying Yes to Life by Ruth Valerio.
As people made in the image of God, we are entrusted to look after what God has made – to share in the joy and creativity of God in making a difference for good. Ruth Valerio imaginatively relates the themes of the Creation story to matters of environmental, ethical and social concern to explore what it means to be human and, in particular, to be a follower of Jesus during Lent.
Why not buy a second hand copy of the book from Wob (www.wob.com) and join us? You will be warmly welcomed.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO: Cath Brennand email [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor: Carol Butler 07825 167 016 or email [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
