Sunday Services

Sunday Worship - Rushall Rushall: St Mary
Our Sunday services are normally at 11am. On the first Sunday we usually have BCP Sung Matins. On the second Sunday we have Holy COmmunion. On the third and fourth Sunday we usually have a Morning Prayer in modern language. The fifth Sunday is usually a benefice service at one of the six churches. This pattern does sometimes vary. On the second Sunday of the month we have an early morning communion in church. This is followed by breakfast and children's activities at the Memorial Hall. At about 10.45 a worship service takes place at the hall.
second Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour

Worship takes place in this church most Sunday at 9.30 am, unless Benefice events or special services have been planned. The third Sunday is usually a cafe style event with activities for youngsters; worship begins around 10am. First, second and fourth Sundays are usually Holy Communion. On the first and third Sunday of the month there is a communion service in the church. at 9.30am. The service is followed by refreshments and time for fellowship.

This service is particularly suitable for families with young children. Drinks and bacon butties are served before the service from 10am. Worship normally starts at about 10.30.

On the fourth Sunday we meet for a Service of the Word. This usually follows the pattern of Morning Prayer from the Common Worship book. The service is followed by refreshments and a time of fellowship.

On the third Sunday the service is at Dickleburgh Church, but Thelveton is open for private prayer. On the fourth Sunday we have a modern language Service of the Word. The fifth Sunday is usually a benefice service at one of the six churches. This pattern does sometimes vary. Monday

Special Prayer Meeting - Rushall Rushall: St Mary
Every Monday before work we gather as a benefice to pray for the Rector and the Benefice.
Every Monday at 6:30 AM for ½ hour

Tuesday

Choir Practice - Dickleburgh Dickleburgh: All Saints
We have a robed choir who are affiliated to the RSCM, and a children's choir known as the Song Squad. We practice most Tuesday evenings, children at 6pm, joined by the adults at 6.30pm.
Every Tuesday at 7:00 PM for 1½ hours

Wednesday

Morning Prayer - Thelveton Thelveton: St Andrew
Every Wednesday, Morning Prayer is said, together with prayers for the parish, all the people who live and work and worship here. The church is usually open for this service, but when Gale is away she will say the prayers wherever she is. If you want a particular person to be remembered please contact Gale. if you would like to go inside the church when Gale is not there please contact the churchwarden

Friday

Morning Prayer - Rushall Rushall: St Mary
Each week prayers are said for the village and the benefice. This service is open to all. If you want particular prayers to be said, but are unable to get there yourself, please contact the Rector.
Every Friday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour
Bellringing - Dickleburgh Dickleburgh: All Saints
We have a team of dedicated bellringers who try to ring for all our services. We have a wide ranging practice, from rounds and call changes to surprise minor. Visitors are always welcome.

Saturday

Morning Prayer - Dickleburgh Dickleburgh: All Saints
Each week prayers are said for the parish, all those who live, work, or worship here. Everyone is welcome at these times of prayer. If you want someone special included but are unable to come along, yourself please let the Rector know, or leave a note on the prayer tree.
Every Saturday at 9:15 AM for ½ hour
Coffee Morning - Dickleburgh Dickleburgh: All Saints
The first Saturday of every month there is a coffee morning in the church rooms next to the church. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are served. There is a good raffle, and a produce stall. Occasionally there are other stalls as the mood takes us. There is also a warm friendly atmosphere and the chance to chat to friends old and new. The rector, or curate, is there for a large part of the time. The church is also open for private prayer or for visitors to look round. Do join us if you are able.
