A monthly service suitable for all the family (young, old or in-between) especially parents/carers and children that ends with a shortened communion and is followed by refreshments.
first Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour

Benefice Holy Communion - Freeland St Mary the Virgin
The service alternates between St. Mary's and the parish of Hanborough. For details, please see the Freeland Grapevine magazine or contact the churchwardens.
fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
This service is particularly suitable for families Do join us for coffee afterwards

This monthly service follows the style used in the Taize Community in France with singing, prayer and readings. It is a wonderful way to end a busy day and set up for the new week ahead. Highly recommended.

This Annual event takes place to coincide with our Dedication Festival weekend and culminates in a Songs Of Praise on Sunday evening at 6 pm. every Sunday at 10:00 AM

Toddlers at St Mary’s - Freeland St Mary the Virgin
The church of St. Mary-the-Virgin in Freeland welcomes all families and children to join in new toddler groups with a Christian theme that meet each Thursday in term time. We sometimes also meet during school holidays so do ask us for details. There are toys and activities for children aged 0 – 4 yrs and we offer you the opportunity to play and chat over coffee and cakes so we can all enjoy the time together. The service is for anyone in Hanborough or Freeland, especially those who have lost loved ones recently, and there will be the opportunity to add your loved one's name to a list of people which will be read out as part of the service.
