Benefice of Ruscombe and Twyford with Hurst

Sunday Services

9 am Holy Communion (Morning Prayers on the third Sunday of a month) - Ruscombe Ruscombe St. James the Great
This is a quiet service, with no hymns except at festivals, and no childrens' groups. Readings and liturgy are taken from Common Worship and a sermon is preached.
Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour

The 10.30 service is more informal and uses contemporary music, led by a keyboard player or a small band, with words visible on a data projection system. The services begin and end with all ages worshipping together. In between the children (ages 3-14) meet in their TRAILBLAZER groups in the church centre, and the adults stay in the church. During this part of the service everyone is exploring the same bible reading. There is a crí¨che for the under 3's. On the first Sunday in a month, the 10.30 service is an all age worship.
