Sunday Services

BCP Holy Communion - Barnehurst St. Martin's
This service uses traditional language from the Book of Common Prayer (no music).
Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour

Family Worship - Barnehurst St. Martin's
This is our main Service incorporating Holy Communion and using contemporary language and a mix of traditional hymns and more modern Christian music.It lasts approximately 75 minutes and refreshments are served afterwards for those who can stay.
Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
During term time the 2nd Sunday is usually also a parade service when the uniformed organisations participate.
This service is particularly suitable for families Do join us for coffee afterwards This service will have sunday school or other children's activities

Sunday School - Barnehurst St. Martin's
Our Sunday School meets during our 10:30 family service. The young people start in the service and then leave for their activities after a few minutes. They return to the main service in time for the distribution.

This service will have sunday school or other children's activities

Church Parade - Barnehurst St. Martin's
Our Uniformed Organisations parade their colours during the services which also celebrate the main festivals in the year. This is within the context of a Eucharist service using contemporary language.

Common Worship Eucharist - Barnehurst St. Martin's
This service is held in the Maxim Room, it is a said service lasting approximately 30 minutes. Refreshments are served afterwards for those who can stay. Entrance to the Maxim Room is on the South side of the church (right hand side when looking from the road).

Family Friendly Coffee
Growing Together - Barnehurst St. Martin's
Over the course of 6 sessions we shall be looking at, studying and discussing different aspects of the Bible and what it means to us. Each of the sessions can stand alone so feel free to join us for one or more meetings. For further details contact Ann Batchelor on 01322 448 347

All Day Event
Our Gift Day is simply a day on which everyone is encouraged to make a special, one-off gift to the Church in addition to their normal planned giving. This perhaps is a special thanks offering maybe for the birth of a child or grandchild, to recognise a special birthday or anniversary, or even an unexpected personal windfall.
