The Parish Eucharist - Cawthorne All Saints
A sung/choral celebration of the Eucharist, for the whole village community. The service is formal but not stuffy. Vestments are worn by the clergy. There is a robed choir.

The main Parish service is Holy Communion with hymns. Everyone, of all ages, is welcome. On Remembrance Sunday the service is at 9:15am followed by a service at the War Memorial.

Sung Eucharist The main Parish Service. Holy Communion with Hymns led by the enthusiastic Choir, conducted by our Choirmaster and Organist, David Matthews. This incorporates a Sermon relevant to the Readings for the Day or the particular Feast Day. Everyone is welcomed. Tea, Coffee and biscuits are served after the Service

Joint Benefice Service on the 5th Sunday of the month - Dodworth St John the Baptist
When there is a 5th Sunday in the month a service of Holy Communion with hymns is held at 10.30am somewhere in the benefice, either here or at Cawthorne, Hoylandswaine or at Silkstone with Stainborough. Please contact Fr Keith Freeman, in advance and on the details provided, to find out where this service is being held - The next joint benefice service will be held at All Saints' Cawthorne at 10.30am on 30th July 2017. There will be no service here at Dodworth on that day. Everyone, of all ages, is welcome. On Remembrance Sunday the service is at 9:15am followed by a service at the War Memorial.

Sunday School on the 1st Sunday of the Month - Dodworth St John the Baptist
Sunday School meets on the first Sunday of the month, while the main servce is going on. All children are welcome, but a parent or guardian must please remain in Church and if your child is under 3 perhaps in Sunday School. All volunteers are CRB checked. Sunday School does not meet during August.

Come along on Thursday mornings between 10:15 and 12noon for a cup of coffee or tea and a slice of cake - it costs only 1. Cakes are usually home-baked. Bring a friend!
