Lent lunches make contribution to water tank in Papua New Guinea!

Delicious home made soup was served at both of the lent lunches held in the homes of Miranda Napier and Clare Sepping for the Waveney Marshlands Benefice. It made a lovely excuse to relax and spend a little more time chatting to those present. In addition, £300 was raised for the Bishop’s lent appeal fund raising money towards 25 water tanks for Ordinand’s homes at Newton Theological College in Papua New Guinea. Well done all those involved. Thanks to their generosity we are very pleased to have been able to fund three-quarters of a water tank!
