We rejoice to announce that the Revd. Dr. Patrick Gilday will be joining us as the Rector of the new Benson with Ewelme Benefice in July.  Patrick is currently a curate in Ascot.  We look forward to welcoming him, his wife Lydia and their daughter Madeleine to Benson in the summer.  Until then  we continue to enjoy the ministry of our visiting clergy who lead our worship.

From 1st April 2017 we are joined with the parishes of the Ewelme Benefice (Ewelme, Brightwell Baldwin, Cuxham and Easington) as the new United Benefice of Benson with Ewelme.  We will mark our union at a shared service on Sunday 30th April at St Helen's.

Sunday Services at St Helen's consist of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer at 8.30am and a Parish Communion using Common Worship at 10am.  On third Sundays this service is a Eucharist for the Whole Family of God with greater involvement by children and music led by the church orchestra.

As well as providing activities for children at the 10am service in the form of FroGs (Friends of God), there are two groups for older children which run on Sunday evenings.  On the second Sunday of the month, from 5.30-7pm the Tweens Group of 9-12 year olds meet in the Canons' Room.  On second and fourth Sundays the Youth Group for 13-18 year olds meets from 7-9.15pm.

Please view the calendar for details of some of the events which run in and around the church as well as special services.

Information about those buried in the main churchyard and the new churchyard on the other side of Church Road can be found using the documents on the right hand side of this page.  Please note that whilst records may indicate the names of those buried in the churchyard, not all graves are marked with monuments.
