The parish church of St. Leonard is in an isolated and striking position on the slope of a hill overlooking the Arrow Valley. As well as being blessed with a lovely and historic building, dating back to the twelfth century, it is set in beautiful grounds just outside Redditch in north east Worcestershire. Its claim to fame is the link with the Sheldon family, Lords of Beoley from the late 15th century to the late 18th century, and two tombs of national importance are to be found in the Sheldon Chapel.
St Leonard’s today, is a thriving Church community with four regular Sunday services providing a rich mixture of worship styles. There is also a number of weekly activities, as well as annual events, such as the Fete and Snowdrop Weekend, which are very much part of the local community calendar.
St Leonard's strives to be an inclusive church and offers a warm welcome to all who would like to join in worship, and any of the other activities.
