St Nicholas Church, Beverley (East Yorkshire UK)
God's People for God's World
We are part of the Church of England, serving the Beckside, Grovehill, Swinemoor and Model Farm
areas of Beverley.
We believe that the Christian Faith is for all people, regardless of age, background or ability.
We believe that the church is first and foremost a community with a common aim to worship the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to serve God and one another.
As a Church, our aims are:
To be open to God - Growing up in our faith through worshipping together.
To be open to one another - Walking together as a church community, learning to support and encourage each other in our Christian journey.
To be open to the world - Going out in service to our local community and beyond, sharing the love of God through our lives
As your parish church, we are here to serve you throughout the year
Worship Services
Worship is the heart of our church life. Meeting together for worship each week gives a structure that helps us to stay close to God and to each other. Our worship gives us an opportunity to express our thanks and praise to God together, and to receive from God for our life in the world.
Worship
A long term project to fit the the Church Building
for the needs of the 21st century is underway.
The reordered and refurbished church will be there to serve both church community and the parish.
