St John's Bierley is a warm, family friendly and welcoming church. We celebrate the Eucharist (Holy Communion) every Sunday. Our wonderful and well attended Sunday School takes place at the same time and at the end of the service gives a lively presentation of what they have been doing.
Indeed, our programme of services and events cater for a wide range of ages and needs. Our Wednesday Communion is a contemplative service, followed by a nice social time. However our Tuesday Family Praise Service is defiantly aimed at families with young children - action songs, puppets, crafts, percussion instruments etc.
We also have a first class carers and toddlers group, Little Gems. For teenagers, the Youth Club and our Social Committee is always planning a good programme of events. Twice a year we put on a show involving the talents of congregation and friends.
Lastly, we have a wonderful Charity Shop, (best in Bradford so we are told!) in the heart of the Community. This helps support the Church and gives opportunities for work experience.

A small youth group for 12-16 year olds. It's a new vennture and just beginning to "get going." We offer games (air hockey, pool/snooker, table football) playstations, dancemat,music,discussion and simple refreshments.
