St Hilda

St Hilda's church is set on the roadside between the hamlets of Urra and Seave Green,  Chop Gate.

The earliest records show there has been a church here since 1122.

The current building was completed in 1853.

Our United Benefice Services are held at one of our four parish churches on the fourth Sunday of every month. They feature a guest speaker and Holy Communion. There are usually refreshments after the service, either within the church or in a church/village hall. The location for each service is published separately along with the start time (earliest is 9am).
