St Michael's

St Michael's is the church at the centre of the town of Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire. The Church is open as a quiet place for visitors, as well as for regular services and for private prayer. We welcome families and we have a session for children and young people at our 10am Sunday service.

We aim to be a welcoming and transforming community of people who know, love and serve God. We are part of the Church of England.

If you are new to the Church or the area, you will be very welcome to join us for one of our services. Please look at our website to get more information about what goes on at St Michael's.

Safeguarding information:
St Michael's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St Albans' safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
