This church has a moderate Catholic Tradition and a friendly, welcoming congregation. All the major festivals of the Church are observed either in this church or in one of the other churches in the Benefice. Services are mostly in traditional language using both Common Worship and Book of Common Prayer as appropriate. In 2010 Blakedown church is celebrating 150 years of serving its community.
