The church was built in 1968 on a steeply sloping site in a residential area. The award-winning design incorpoates the extensive use of glass and provides a light and airy worship area at road level with a beautiful view out over a large part of the parish. A flexible seating arrangement provides for approximately 200, and the building stands in an area of garden. Disabled access to the church is good.
The Church Hall is located underneath the worship area and is split-level. It contains a kitchen and toilets, and the Hall is available for hire on some weekday evenings and some Saturdays.
