The shorter version of our vision statement is ' Sharing the Love' *

St Christopher's is a family style church embracing all ages and seeking to reach out to everyone in the area and the parish.  We have a wide menu of service styles, some traditional and some less traditional.  Our midweek activities and communities are equally important and include Homegroups, Tots and Toddlers groups, Boys Brigade and Girls Association Anchors and Juniors groups, SCY youth group, Wednesday Friendship for mature people and Knit and Natter.

The Prayer Course
You are warmly invited to a Prayer Course at St Christopher's Church each Thursday evening from 28th September for 6 weeks with a break for half term finishing on 9th November. We will meet at 7.15pm together in the Church and watch a video, then break into small groups to look at various aspects of prayer each week, finishing at 9.15pm
No meeting during half-term, i.e. 26th October 2017 every first second and third Thursday at 7:15 PM until Thursday 9th November 2017
Ends Thursday 26th October 2017.

Who let the Dads out?
'Who let the Dads out?!' will be a monthly Saturday morning (9.00-11.00am) event at St Christopher's planned for Dads and their children up to the age of 6 years - starting with a launch on 1st October at 9.00am. This is a fantastic opportunity for all men to support and encourage family life with a fun programme of craft, games, toys, together with bacon/sausage butties/coffee, juice, toast for all. It will then continue on the first Saturday of the month.

Sunday

Worship for everyone with Communion
Worship for Everyone with Communion, creche, Junior Church and SCY (young people's group) If your little ones become restless during the service, please feel free to take them to the back of the church where there are a few toys.
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Family Friendly Creche Sunday School Refreshments
Worship for everyone
Morning Worship. Junior Church and SCY (youth group) go into the hall for their groups during most of the service. There is also a creche for children under 3 years. The service is followed by a short Communion service.
Every fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Monday

Tots
Mondays' Tots is for Mums, Dads, Grandmas, etc and little ones up to the age of 3 years. Pop in for a morning of play, crafts, songs and stories and a good dose of chatting and support from other parents! There is no waiting list just pop along. Tea and toast is served during the morning.

Boys Brigade and Girls Association
Our BBGA Anchor's and Juniors meet on Monday evenings at 6.00pm in the Church Hall. The Anchor Section (5-8 years) have lots of fun doing different activities which include making things, crafts, music, games, sports, stories, going on visits, making friends and working towards their badges. The Junior's Section for boys and girls aged 8 to 11 years. Juniors is all about having fun, making friends, enjoying lots of activities and trying new things. Meetings are crammed full of challenges, games and activities catering for just about every possible interest. We encourage them to explore new interests whilst working towards badges. Wednesdays' Toddlers is for Mums, Dads, Grandmas, etc with little ones up to 3 years. It is a pop in session of play, songs, crafts and stories and a good dose of chatting and support from other parents! Kids snack and hot drinks for adults served mid-morning. There is no waiting list - just pop along.

Social activities and friendship for older people We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays during term time, usually from 2.00 to 4.00 pm in the Church Hall. We have a varied programme of games, outings, talks, musical entertainment, crafts � and always a cuppa with cakes. We also have a lunch together about 5 times a year. Our aim is to provide enjoyment and good company for older people

SCY (short from St Christopher's Youth)
Calling all 15-19 year olds SCY Friday meets on Friday evenings during term-time at 8.30 - 10.00pm and is for 15-18 years old (school years 11 plus) Activities include games, chill zone, God slot, arts and crafts, drama and special events and camps. Church Open The Church cafe is open on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9.30am - 12.30pm. Come for a cuppa, a listening ear, a chat and meet some of our Church family.Also, the entrance area of the Church is open on weekday mornings.
