St Saviour's Church is the parish church for Iford in Bournemouth.

We’re a friendly, caring Anglican church serving the Iford/Boscombe East area of Bournemouth. We are committed to loving Jesus with our whole lives, and to loving and serving each other and our wider community.

Our church family is growing all the time. It is made up of over 200 adult members, plus about 75 children. We are a mixture of all sorts of people, from all sorts of backgrounds, all ages, and all with our own unique stories. We seek to be a church where all are welcome, where people matter, where we can worship God freely, and where we can be equipped to live out our faith day-by-day.

Homegroups are a big focus for us, and we would like to encourage all of our church members to be committed to one so that we can 'spur one another towards love and good deeds' (Hebrews 10:25).

We also have lots of activities for children and young people, as well as many other things going on. Check out our website for more information: www.stsaviours.net or find us on facebook: fb.me/stsavioursbournemouth

Although we meet every Sunday in our church building on the corner of Colemore Road and Holdenhurst Avenue, the real life of the church is to be found in the many activities that happen throughout the rest of the week. Come and join us on Sunday or during the week - you'll find a warm welcome.

Sunday

Traditional communion
The 9am service is a traditional service, sometimes with hymns accompanied by our organist. It follows the Book of Common Prayer (1662), which is loved for the beauty of its language and the contemplation and quiet it provides. This service generally lasts about 30-45 minutes, and all are welcome to stay for coffee and croissants in the Link afterwards.
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for ¾ hour
Refreshments Book of Common Prayer
Informal morning service
This service has something different going on every week. Arrive early for coffee and croissants in the Link and a chance to meet the 9am crowd, or just roll up for the start of the service – the choice is yours. This service is always relaxed and welcoming, and gives time for vibrant worship, reading from God’s Word, prayer and ministry, as well as biblical teaching. Communion usually happens monthly on the fourth Sunday, and baptisms are also a regular feature. Coffee, tea and biscuits are served in both the Link and the church after the service, and this is a good time to meet others and find out more about the church. Fruit squash is also available
