St.George's is 200 years old and is one of only 2or 3 in the country owned by the village as opposed to the Church, having been built by public subscription. It was built to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of George 111 in 1810.
the mainstay of worship is 10:00 am on the 1st Sunday of the month. Usually Holy Communion. There is a family service on the 3rd Sunday at 4pm.
It is one of 4 churches in the Parish of Upper Stour.
A new Incumbent is due to be installed in July following an interregnum of 18 months.
We are looking forward to welcoming Graham Perryman and his family.
