Boyton: Blessed Mary

The Church of The Blessed Mary serves the villages of Boyton and Corton, which are a mile apart. It is a beautiful building, with a long and interesting history, which can be found on our website. On special occasions our church really comes alive with Christmas, Easter, Harvest and other festivals becoming the focus for village celebrations. The Church of the Blessed Mary at Boyton is one of the most outstanding churches in the whole of the Salisbury Diocese, able to hold up to 180 people is ideal for weddings. We joyfully live out our calling to grow in the love of God through hope, prayer and service. We have a small and dedicate team of volunteers who look after our church, and are here to help should you wish to visit us for a service, use the church for a life event, trace your family history or if you are seeking a place for quiet contemplation.

The parish of Boyton: The Blessed Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services

All are very welcome, and popping along for a leisurely walk around, and to rest in the stillness, is the best way to appreciate the beauty and history of this wonderful church.
