Holy Communion (Common Worship)
A quiet, reflective service of Holy Communion according to Common Worship liturgy, and without hymns. Short sermon, usually a condensed version of the sermon to be used at the main morning service.
Every first and fourth Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
Holy Communion (BCP)
A quiet, reflective service of Holy Communion, according to the Book of Common Prayer (1662). No hymns or music. The sermon is generally a brief version of the main service sermon, in the form of a reflection or meditation on one of the Bible passages read as Epistle or Gospel.
Every second Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
Book of Common Prayer

Very informal, relaxed service, using mainly contemporary songs and hymns accompanied by a band, aimed at attracting families but welcoming people of all ages. Children depart for their own activities (Shell Club, JAM) after about 10-15 minutes, while adults remain behind for a normal, full-length Bible-based sermon. Coffee/tea and breakfast pastries freely available from 15 minutes before the service and continuing afterwards. Toddlers and tinies are welcome to remain in the main meeting room regardless of noise levels.

Matins (1662)
Traditional Morning Prayer service, according to the Book of Common Prayer (1662). We sing one or more canticles, usually using a hymn or metric version of a psalm, and generally use more traditional hymns. Sermons are always Bible based, often part of a series, e.g., going through a book of the Bible.
Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour

Holy Communion
Holy Communion service using Common Worship liturgy. We sing hymns, both traditional and contemporary. The sermon is always Bible-based, and is often part of a series (e.g., going through a book of the Bible). There is no special provision for children, who are welcome to remain with their parents throughout the service.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

A worship service using liturgy based directly on Bible passages. Hymns both traditional and contemporary are used.

Family Friendly Refreshments
"Together in Worship"
Intentionally family-friendly, more informal event, aimed at involving the whole family in worship. Babies are often baptised at this service. Hymns and songs are usually well-known, although new hymns or songs are often introduced, too.

Carols, accompanied by a brass band, with mulled wine and mince pies on offer (voluntary donations for charity).

Carol Service
A service of 6 lessons and carols, candle-lit.

Crib Service
A short Nativity play by the children of our Shell Club (Sunday School) for parents and for other children. If children who haven't rehearsed would like to take part, come dressed up as a shepherd or an angel! Refreshments will be served afterwards in Cross House, the church rooms next to the church.
