Today a member of the Northmoor Team of Churches in the Okehampton area on the north-west edge of Dartmoor, St Bridget's has been the parish church for Bridestowe since the fifteenth century, though the village had earlier places of worship before the present church was built. Today's congregation worships in 'covenant' partnership with the congregation of neighbouring Bridestowe Methodist Chapel, with a joint monthly service and frequent other events. There is a Sunday service every week at St Bridget's (or at the Chapel on alternate months for a United Service). Also monthly, St Bridget's hosts 'Potato Church', a child-centred family service at teatime ending with a baked potato feast. The church is open each day for visitors, and the Team Vicar John Davies and Associate Priest Geoffrey Harris welcome enquiries about baptisms and weddings - see links for more details.
