The Parish Church of Brighouse.
Large Victorian structure with a big "wow factor" on entering through the west door.
Sympathetically re-ordered 2000-2006 with flexible seating, enhanced lighting, heating system, decorations, nave altar, sound system with loop, stations of the cross.
Community area comprises Reception/Meeting Room, Kitchen, Toilets with Baby Change, Parish Office.
Facilities for the disabled include access pathway from public highway, reception and nave on the same level.
A warm, friendly welcome from an all age congregation.
Members are active in the local community and in parish social events.
A superb pipe Organ, a beautiful interior, 8 Bells in the Tower and an informal group of Singers willing to lead have increased the popularity of St. Martins as a wedding venue since re-ordering was completed.
The acoustics and ambiance of the building make it an ideal concert venue and the choice of professionals for sound recordings.

Sunday
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour
Family Service (30 minutes) followed by optional Communion
Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour
On the second to fifth Sundays the children leave the Sung Eucharist during the first hymn for their own activities and return for the Peace. Play bags containing suitable activities are provided to occupy those children who stay in church during the Service.
Every second third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour
Every third Sunday at 6:30 PM for 50 minutes
Tuesday
A service of prayer, music and song with time for reflection.
Every third Tuesday at 7:00 PM for 40 minutes
Thursday
Thursday at 9:30 AM for 20 minutes
Every Thursday at 10:00 AM for ¾ hour
Friday
Busy Bees is a pre-school group that meets in the Sugden Suite. It is not simply a playgroup but involves structured activities including stories, craft work, singing games, play and sometimes gardening. Mums/Carers are expected to stay and be part of the group. Parties are held at Christmas, Easter and Valentines Day and children’s birthdays are remembered with a card, gift and cake. There is no charge but the group aims to be self-funding through sponsored events and coffee mornings etc.
Term time only every Friday at 1:30 PM for 1½ hours
