St Nicholas Church Broadwey stands alongside the Roman Road that will take you from Weymouth to Dorchester. The history of the Church is well documented - see our website - as Christians in Broadwey have kept moving with the Pilgrim God who meets us in Jesus.
From the outisde the Church looks like a small traditional Village Church, but when you come through the door - wow - you've walked into a Tardis! Since we re-ordered the Church back in 2001 it seems much bigger - lighter - and more welcoming. Comfortable seats are helpful when worshipping God - it's less distracting.
We are recognisably Church of England but with a free flowing open style that reflects how we feel in our worship. We are not 'happy clappy' whatever that means, but enjoy singing along to a sensitive music group.
There is ample space for pushchairs and buggies as we can move the chairs to fit you in. Our congregation covers all age groups and we really do enjoy meeting together to worship and praise God.
