About our Church

Standing on high ground above the Waveney Valley, there has been a Church on the site of St Peter and St Paul since before Doomsday. The main structure of the Church is mediaeval, dating from 14th century, although there are traces of the earlier building - late Saxon and early Norman. The interior was restored in the 1840s and is regarded, then and now, as a fine example of a gothic Victorian interior.

We have a service each Sunday with the exception of the fifth Sunday which is a 'rotating' benefice service; there is a service of Holy Communion at least once a month. Since we are currently in an interregnum, without an incumbent, we have visiting Priests as well as Readers from within the benefice.
