Broughton Community Church is an exciting and active congregation with a mixture of backgrounds both socially and spiritually. As a mission church many members have joined from a non-Anglican or non-church background. Although we are diverse this is a positive dimension in Broughton’s life.

We believe that the church should be a place where ordinary people can come, be accepted, assisted to believe and, by God’s transforming work, changed into his likeness.

Broughton Church is called to be...

Welcoming:

a church where everyone is welcome, whatever their background or age a church where everyone is valued, loved and accepted as they are

Worshipping:

a church where God's Word is central to all we do a church where we seek God in prayer individually and together a church where we worship God wholeheartedly

Nurturing:

a church where everyone is encouraged to grow in their faith, to discover their gifts and use them a church where everyone is encouraged to become the person God has called them to be

Serving:

a church which is known in the community as a place of refreshing and safety a church where we seek to restore community and respond to the needs of those around us

Transforming:

a church where God is at work and where His Spirit flows out into the community bringing transformation and life
