Welcome to St Mary's Buckden.   

The church is open to visitors every day, to look around, for a quiet space to rest, cool down or for private prayer, so do come in. Or join us for one of the services or events mentioned below.

Monday 14 September:
9am Daily Office: Morning Prayer (every Monday); 11.30am Funeral of the late Denise Bentley; 7.30pm Bell-ringing practice (every Monday), visitors and newcomers always welcome

Tuesday 15 September: 7pm Julian Meeting (silent contemplative prayer)

Wednesday 16 September:
10am Mid-week Service of Holy Communion, then Coffee & Chat

Friday 18 September:
9am Daily Office: Morning Prayer (every Friday)

Sunday 20 September:
11am Morning Worship
3pm Guided Tour for Heritage Open Days

Our sister church, All Saints in Offord Cluny, has a songs of praise service at 6pm.  St Peter’s Church Offord Darcy will be open this weekend as part of Heritage Open Days.

About us.
We are a friendly village church with an active congregation. We run a variety of services and events throughout the year. Something for everyone, we hope. The church is open every day and visitors are always welcome. Our main services are on Sunday at 11am and Wednesday at 10.00am. 

You are welcome to join us for tea/coffee & chat at 11am every Wednesday, Coffee & Cakes on the first Saturday of the month, and on the afternoon of the second Wednesday each month we host a Community Cafe with befrienders/transport group Friends in Deed. We are voucher holders and a collection point for the Foodbank. We have strong links with the local school, Buckden Primary Academy, and with Hardwick Dene Care Home.

We run various group activities including Junior Church and youth@thetowers for children/youth; Angel Voices for singers; bell-ringers; Getting Active for those who like to walk, Cleaning Crew.  Our Living Stones Room is available to hire for small groups events.
