St Agnes United Church is a Combined Anglican and Baptist Church ( an LEP ) serving Burmantofts, an inner city multi-cultural district of Leeds, close to St James University Hospital.
The church actively encourages lay leadership and ministry, and is seeking to extend its mission in the locality. There are 3 primary schools, a Children's Centre ( early years ) and a High School in the parish. We have an all-age "Cafe-Church" one Saturday a month.
St Agnes has links with Ebor Gardens Advice Centre, and with Burmantofts Senior Action, which is involved with provision for elderly people, e.g running lunch clubs.
The Church Halls are used by many other community groups, some having self-contained offices in the complex. Facilities include a small sports hall, and a smaller lounge with kitchen. Facilities are available ( Monday-Saturday only ) for hire - see the pictures on our website and email us.
