St Mary's serves the joint villages of Burnham Deepdale and Brancaster Staithe. The regular worshipping community is small but is augmented by our weekend and holiday visitors many of whom come often. We feel and hope that newcomers will feel warmly welcomed.
In the course of a month a variety of services are held which are middle of the road Anglican in style being neither high church nor evangelical. One of our most popular services is our annual Sea Service in July when the church is beatifully decorated by a local fisherman and his family.
The church is always open during daylight hours. We hope that visitors will find peace and tranquility within as well as being able to view our treasures: our Saxon tower, our Norman font and our medieval and Victorian glass windows.
