Coffee Morning

There is a vision within St Mary’s to provide a welcome to members of the parish who may be feeling alone. There will be coffee morning at St Mary's on the second Saturday of each month, (unless there is a Church Open Day that month, when the coffee morning will be on that Saturday)between 10am and 12 noon.

Every second Saturday at 10:00 AM for 2 hours

Sunday

Holy Communion 9am Service
Spoken service.
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour

All Stage Worship
This Service open to anyone at any stage in their Christian faith. The Sunday Club join in with this service.
Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour

Holy Communion
This is a full holy communion service. The children attend Sunday Club, returning for Communion at 11:15.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours

Celebration
This is a non holy communion service. Possibly including baptisms. The children attend the first half of the service then attend Sunday Club.
Every third Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour

Start Course - Baptism Preparation
Start! Course The sessions assume no previous knowledge of anything Christian and use a mix of DVD input, time to chat, simple discussion activities and space for reflection; all in a style that is down-to-earth and honest, and which aims to be enjoyable too. The course will finish with a formal Baptism Preparation session on Saturday 24th March at 10:30am. Anyone interested in finding out more, please contact the Church office on 01902 782226.

Mothering Sunday is always the fourth Sunday of Lent however as the dates vary as to when Easter and Lent fall the actual Sunday chosen to celebrate it may vary.

Baptism Preparation

There will be 3 Baptism Preparation Sessions in St Mary's Church in 2012, as part of and including a six week Start! course aiming to guide and inform anyone interested in knowing more about Jesus. The format of the final Baptism Preparation Sessions will be as follows: 10 minute introduction and explanation of St Mary's procedures 10 minute DVD presentation of Christian Faith 5 minute explanation of the basics 15 minute baptism of a "dolly" 10 minute Q & A time over a cuppa!!
