The St.Birinus Mission is part of The Anglican Parish of Tilehurst - St.Catherine and Calcot St.Birinus.

Moving forward in the spirit of St.Birinus we are exploring how to be a Christian Community in new ways."Meeting Point" in the Dunelm Mills Cafe was a new fresh expression of this.

In the spirit of unity and support in the parish the three churches St.Catherine's, Cornwell Community Church and St.Birinus Mission join together regularly to worship as one. We conduct regular prayer walks in the Parish and prayer for those who live there on a regular basis.

Increasingly we are working with other churches in the area to change the way in which the Church can love and serve the community.  The St.Birinus building has been developed by the Reading Community Church to better serve the community through an education project for excluded pupils with the Lighthouse Group.  Regular events are now held in the St.Birinus building by Reading Community Church and Lifespring Church.

An informal Holy Communion Service
Every first Wednesday at 11:00 AM

Youth Church
An event just for teenagers with power praise, light show and a message. Refreshments and games follow the service which is run by Lifespring Church.
Fridays subject to school holidays. every second and fourth Friday at 8:00 PM for 2 hours
