St Mildred's Church is one of two parish churches within the City Centre Parish in Canterbury . Our worship is within the Liberal Catholic tradition of the Anglican Church, expressed in our Common Worship celebration of the Eucharist. The congregation includes people from a wide cross-section of Anglican traditions and of other churches. Through our worship and fellowship we seek to share with others the love of God seen uniquely in Jesus Christ. Our medieval church building is a place of contemporary prayer and worship. As a sacred space it is a well of the Christian spiritual tradition from which visitors and newcomers to Canterbury can drink deeply. Whenever possible, from Easter to the end of October, we are open to visitors and those who seek somewhere to be quiet. We aim to establish links with the local community through, for instance, the St Mildred's Club for retired people.
