The Church of All Saints Castleford is one of the churches which constitute the Castleford Team Parish.
There has been a Christian witness and presence in Castleford for well over a thousand years. It is believed that St Augustine and his Monks had introduced the Christian faith here by 597 A.D. Nowadays the life and worship of Castleford Team Parish is centred on the three Churches which constitute the team.
The Team Parish is firmly rooted within the Catholic tradition of the Church of England and as such the Eucharist and the Sacraments are at the centre of our Christian lives together.
There are currently three Priests working in the Parish, with one Lay Pastoral Assistant and there is a very strong commitment to the life of the Gospel from the parishioners.
The churches of Castleford, although standing as a memorial to our rich Christian heritage. Now more importantly recognise their need to stand as a vibrant witness to the saving power of Jesus Christ for all people today.
