Ancient Church, a place of worship since 4th Century, with Roman, Saxon and Norman stonework in an attractive old village setting. Famous Norman tower and lovely medieval Angel Roof. Historic Shrine of Our Lady & St Kyneburgha still used today. Visitors, wayfarers and pilgrims always welcome to this holy site. Picnic places and WCs in the churchyard. We have a new Church Hall - the Cedar Centre- with all mod cons 20 yards from the church available for use and hire. Pilgrim/visiting parties/Quiet Days welcome and catered for with meals. Good pubs close by. For pictures of church,history, activities see Church Website at www.castorchurch.co.uk There are eight bells, a flourishing band of ringers and handbell ringers.Choir and Sunday School. Traditional but lively and active Anglican parish church with popular social activities, highly involved in the local village. Good church school in the churchyard. We are proud of our church and love to see visitors at services and during day. AMDG.

Book of Common Prayer
Sung Eucharist
Every Sunday at 10.15am Full Sung Eucharist with choir. Incense used on High Days and Holy Days. On First Sunday in Month the Sunday School join us and the children help with the service. There is coffee after the service on the First Sunday of Month

Evensong
Prayer Book Evensong is held at 6pm on Sunday Evenings. This is usually a small, quiet said service but on special occasions it is a full sung service with the choir.
Every Sunday at 6:00 PM for ½ hour
Prayers for Healing
On the Third Sunday of the month, following the quiet Prayer Book Evensong the service concludes with prayers for Healing and the Laying-on of Hands at the High Altar.
