St Michael the Archangel is at the heart of the vibrant community of Chagford, Devon, and has been for at least 750 years. It is part of a family of churches, the Whiddon Parishes, which seek to show God's love in this beautiful part of the country and celebrate what the Holy Spirit is doing here. Everyone of whatever tradition, and none, will find a warm welcome here.
Our mission statement is 'Communicating the good news of Jesus and demonstrating care for the vulnerable, our communities and the wider creation.' There is a range of different types of worship, groups and activities at St Michael's, including a committed and talented church choir - please see our website for more details.
St Michael's is open every day of the week and we look forward to welcoming you here.
