St George's, a Waterloo Church, is an imposing building designed by Thomas Rickman and built in 1824. It retains its gallery and has what is thought to be the only cast iron hammer beam ceiling in existence.
As a church family St George's has an active and enthusiastic fellowship, with family-friendly worship in a traditional but accessible style.
We are especially proud of our close links with St George's CE (Aided) Primary School and St Michael's CE (Aided) High School.
