Christ Church Felixstowe (CCFX)

Welcome to Christ Church Felixstowe

Christ Church is a lively, friendly, ecumenical Anglican Church that celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2019. We are on the north- west side of the town, on Grange Farm Avenue opposite the Owl and the Pussycat pub and Morrisons, in the centre of the Cavendish Park community. We like to meet with God in our worship in a lively, informal way and encounter him in a way that is relevant to our daily lives, and we are committed to caring and building strong communities and taking to Good News of Jesus Christ to all people in the power off the Holy Spirit. We meet in a modern church building at 10.30am on Sunday Mornings with children’s activities at the same time and a creche, and we also have home groups as an important part of our life together. Please do feel welcome to come and join us, and as an Anglican Church we also offer weddings and baptisms

Safeguarding

Our parish of Felixstowe Christ Church is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Safeguarding Officer. Our Diocese of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer who advises our Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact our Safeguarding Officer Andrew Chenery ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, Karen Galloway, on 07785 621319 or email [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services. Further information can be found on the diocesan website Promoting a safer church - Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.
