I am delighted to welcome you to the Church of England parish of
St. Mary’s, Boston Spa. Boston Spa is a large Georgian village on
the river Wharfe, close to the A1 immediately south of Wetherby,
and just within the metropolitan area of Leeds. The parish is part of
an informal grouping of five parishes in the Diocese of York, known
as the Lower Wharfe Group. St. Mary’s is the largest of the five
parishes and is especially known for the warmth of its welcome.
Through it’s varied Sunday and weekday worship and large range of
ministries and community activities and links it seeks to provide a
firm spiritual foundation in the Christian faith. We have our own
church school and a number of organizations for our younger members.
