*******************************

Next week: after the 10.45 service we are all invited to celebrate with Lawrence & Olga as they mark their Diamond wedding anniversary. Together we will enjoy a lovely afternoon tea. We do need an idea of numbers so if you haven’t already, please sign up at the back of church.

The Parochial Church Council (PCC): is the executive committee of the church and consists of the Vicar and churchwardens of the parish, together with representatives of the laity. It is a corporate charitable body. Legally the council is responsible for the financial affairs of the church and the maintenance of its assets. It also assists the Vicar in the management of church affairs in the parish, and promoting the mission of the church. We are keen to encourage some new members. We meet six times a year, so it’s not onerous, but just requires you to be passionate about the future of St Nic’s. Please approach the Vicar if you feel you could serve the parish in this way.

Please remember in your prayers: Katie, Barbara Sharocks, Tony Ryan, Louise Clark, Mark Price, Alan Morris, Dean, Rev Jane Everett, Paul Sumner, Norman Higgins, John McLellan and Chris Shuttleworth. Please also remember the families and friends of Craig Abson and Ken Hargreaves whose funerals are due to take place.
